Road Conditions

This is a useful website: http://www.trafficscotland.org/lev/index.aspx

For instance, the cameras on the A87 are just over the hill to the north of us; and the A9 cameras at Drumochter give an indication of how things are there. Though perhaps one should not rely on them too much, as the BBC News website refers to chaos on the A9 at some unspecified place in the Highlands.

Still, it is quite reassuring to look at the pictures and see that the roads are not totally covered with snow.

The cameras are reassuring and there is also a twitter feed
http://twitter.com/trafficscotland
which seems more up to date just now than the
"current incidents" page on the web

the ward reports that mum has "gone home with her daughter" but not which daughter nor which home....

I hope this is not a variation on the stories one occasionally reads about people stealing babies from maternity wards.

I phoned to be told that my sister was there and that she would phone me. Assume it was Diana, as clearly neither of you, and Kate is in Oxford with only a bicycle.

Cecilia said...

Depends, surely, if it is a bicycle made for two.

Oh and the other thing is: has she been sent with or without a pacemaker? They might just have taken against her and expelled her.

Janet said...

Without. Have sent you email.

No problem- I rebolted the tag -along onto the bike and Ma just free wheeled all the way back to Droitwich.
